Immortality Question- 19th April 2002

 Question:
I've chosen to be a breatharian. People find me strange and eccentric and moreso because of my firm belief in physical immortality. I feel its against some esoteric rule of conduct to ask straightly 'is it true that immortality is a reality?'.

I ask without being unobtrusive for the truth from the Elder Brothers' questing star,
- Mell

IS it true that immortality is a reality?
All the signs would point to 'yes', but who can say, until Eternity is depleted and the immortal have run their course?

By its own definition immortality can never be realized to be a reality.

(Sometimes the only way to calm a doubt is to deflate a false hope.)

  1. If it and we are all going to be extinguished in the end, then why bother at all with this ascent by means of such suffering and anguish because it has been made to be and imposed upon us, in this semblance of separateness and promise of New Life? Or is it that in the illusion of our separateness as a singular and limited point of view within the whole of creation, we're all when it has run its course, to awaken within the One?

    1. The point is who can say what will occur when "Eternity has run its course". How can anyone, human or not know, the ultimate answer to that question? It is unknowable. "All the signs would point to 'yes'" - but who really knows what happens at that distant time? God alone knows.
