There exists two types of fire.
This is not to say: one that is, and the other lives in idea only - or that one that is physical, and one dwells in counterpart spiritually - but that they have two distinct natures, that there are two fires, that are both fire, yet completely different from one another.
And, also, these two have representation within this world and out of it, whilst being also comprehensively active within the metaphysical circumference.
They can be found in contemplative paradox and principle, whilst also in foundational science, through to the projective rays of future universal chemistry vernaculars.
The distinction is this: there is hot fire and there is cold fire.
Fire with heat - i.e. warmth and warming - and fire with a combustive motion and a subterranean power that it is hotter than heat, yet with no warmth manifesting, however is energetically stronger, expiring naught, yet invertedly, and central to itself, expiring within.
These two are not one and the same. They are independent in motion, in character, in physics. Yet they can manifest together, occupying the same space.
The cold fires can be present within the combusting, flaming, active hot fires - whilst the element of hot fire can (in higher world principle and below) be outwardly active with cold fire existing within the a mutual field as it were.
It would be an over-simplification to say that cold fire was inert and hot fire was expressive. For cold fire can have its own activity manifest past and future, and although it does not expire a warming or convert the ethers surrounding it, it actually compels light, which of itself, is different again.
By proxy, one could say that cold fire conveys elements of the Father God in that earliest of Divine principles manifest - with its own matter and memory rooted in eternity’s dawn, it is. Whilst the ever dancing Fires of warmth are children of a next generation Godhood, where manifestation graced the out-spilling cosmic realms, and into the matters at hand.
The distinction between the two is enlightening. If modern Physics began to define and differentiate the contrasts - to name the two in their separate actions and presence - it could begin to give explanations as to why many catalysts are failing to complete, whilst others are active and expiring, giving reason as to why there are different outcomes seemingly for same or similar circumstances.
It is precisely because of the existence of two fires that our physical laws can deviate from sameness and predictability. There are caveats of course, but there are such combinations offered that give way to constant variables, increasing the perimeters of opportunity, design and consequence.
At the very core of physical wellbeing are the two fires and the knowledge and action of both. Yet they are not yin and yang, being both yang. In point of fact we have yin, yang and yanger.

They are not aligned with named virtue, but of themselves carry the essence of un-named qualities that precede all virtue. For fires refresh life, fires embody the forces of Divine motion, and energetically empower, and are empowered by the greater Will of cosmic enterprise.
It is therefore of uppermost importance that these two fires are understood to both be of fire firstly, and that cold fire is not in any way opposite, but different, and it is not less, but in actuality more.
Within our own natures, there are the two manifest - not only in physical electrical activity biologically, but also indwelling in the consciousness and the will. Both cold and hot fire manifests, singularly, concurrently, cohesively and independently.

The substance of cold fire is Spirit.
And the substance of Spirit is God.
Cold fire is hotter than hot fire, and yet it de-cinders, incinerates naught, disintegrates nothing.
It is before the will manifests - for it empowers the will to manifest.
It is before the light illumines - as it precedes the sparks and the rays’ incandescence.
It feeds all motion, yet its centre is stable.
It is ineffable and enduring.
It comes and goes.
Cold fire is unharness-able.
Its divinity visits and departs, where it will.
