In civilisations past there were those that were ‘civil’ at the height of their evolution: when the peoples were orderly and educated, the streets were clean and politeness was understood - these civilisations have come and gone - all with such merit when at their best, for the grace of such peoples abounded.
And they did not rest on laws to constrain the citizens - such deterrents were for the interlopers from foreign lands - the heathens who knew not the ways of a polite society and cared not for cordiality and civility, but murdered and stole where it suited them.
This pattern is not new. The health of a Nation deteriorates and the ravaging agents opportunistically set in … however, going forward into our futures, this will no longer be the case, for fortunately the former patterns have been reversed … as the conformity to society comes now from a willingness, an intelligence, that is consciously adopted and developed by the ego.
In past times goodness presided naturally, but now it becomes a choice - anticipated within the flame of perspex a daily challenge - a weft and weave - but all in all an empowering also.
For now, as Humanity is so tested it is strengthened.
The best part to all of this is that the patterns of old no longer constrain, communities are no longer destined to expire, but in fact by conscious morality they may prosper and strengthen into the future.
