The conversations the Disciples had with Christ when He walked the world and thereafter were entirely natural. There, in the presence of the holiest and exalted, gentle words and genuine thoughts passed from one to the other.
There are but a few interactions captured, and the recollections are so necessarily abbreviated, it is difficult to determine just how warm and complete these meetings were.
And so it is with the Masters also - that there shall be no ‘airs of superiority’ within their interactions from one to another within the hierarchy of experience. And likewise too, within the Angelic realm: pride and pretence have no place in their devotion or their usefulness.
This may be a key for self-measure and for discriminating others also.
Haughtiness is but a mask and does not exist in those who are spiritually pure.
Such pretence of authority or competitiveness is a fool’s game - and yet these players can find sincerity as quickly and easily as the touchstone of truth, would they want for it, it is there.
However, consciousness within the world particularly challenges the true self to become ‘more than’ … to be in effect, someone one is not - for in many respects this is what is required that we might evolve and progress. And so their maybe a confusion as to what may become just a mask, or in time a mantle of virtue.
We all stumble through our learning - however, warmth is essential to this betterment. Our beings require an inner warmth of character, of nature, of soul, that we may fully become our better selves.
This does not need to be explained - one knows immediately the difference in oneself and in others.
And so you can identify the Great Ones in an instant with this key aspect.
Warmth of character is to the life of the soul, just as the physical and etheric warmth is to the life of the body.
Warmth is truth in motion.
