Bravado- 26th July 2026

Umberto Brunelleschi
Bravado is essentially a gift from our Angels – a decorum, a demeanour, that is wholly positive, and of the faith that we are more capable than we feel.

It can be courageous – yet seen as buffoonery – from the small child to the warrior, it is in fact the etheric act of stepping forward (not stepping back) even when unsure – or moreover especially when the expertise is lacking or self-doubt is nagging us as at from behind.

It is not idiocy because it is calculated: it is an attempt to ‘make do’ with the little we have, and step into the role in order to assume it.

In many respects this is how we all learn – initiated by a false confidence – with an intuition on loan from our Angelic companions about what may or may not be forthcoming.

Life itself requires much bravado, for the unknown components in the Physical World are there at every angle. Throughout one’s day bravado is employed countless times as a prelude to our will or our concentration, pursuing what begs our attention.

For uncertainty would/could be overwhelming without it, inhibiting our confidence and, with nervousness etc in consequence.

Bravado is physically found in sweet substances.

It is not insanity, unreasonable, or reckless, it is not uncouth, egotistical, or false (even though it is fake) – it is a holy confidence without which we would tremble at life's prospects ere before meeting them.

Nay, it is not false courage either, but rather leaning on the confidence of our unseen guides who are there right beside us as we walk our rocky paths.
