WHEN it comes to judgement, it is all too easily assumed that the bias of the Heavens runs against the individual, rather than having them care for the spirit and the personality within firstly. But this is not the case at all. The Heavens are the chief defenders of all. The place of judgement sits on behalf of that soul concerned - in respect for their welfare and improvement. It is not, and never, about punishment.
Life itself is primarily monastic - meaning: that it holds a singular perspective attributed to those things for which it is concerned, that in turn then flow out from this central nucleus.
This is not to say that the universal principle is one of self-centredness in a negative way. Self-centredness is a divine principle that necessarily gives way to other offspring principles radiating out from its core and being. We begin with one, and then move on to the many.
It is so often assumed that Life itself judges a man or woman, most harshly.
In the case of the tenets of morality, spiritual credence, parental guiding compelling behavior - in anything where an individual has been assessed to be engaged in a wrongful or hapless deed – how often it is that one can feel judged or crushed by the weight of such condemnation. And yet from the spiritual perspective, Life itself and in the spiritual world view, one does not understand any intrinsic value in condemnation at all.
In point of fact there is no productive currency in a creature or being feeling poorly about itself.
This is a liberating truth.
Dis-grace will block the very grace one is attempting to welcome in.
If a man works to have an excessive, obsessive, love and lust for wealth, it is often proffered to be abhorrent, sinful and condemnatory. To say that the love of money is a root of evil is a truth firstly given on behalf of the soul concerned. It is for the sake of that individual firstly that this is contemplated.
The point of judgement is not to condemn, the point is actually in the very truth it offers.
Yet so very often when such truths are evident we find that people become lost in the machinations of condemnation and persuaded into realms of thought that literally sidetrack away from the point at hand.
It is never about condemnation of others or self - especially when such condemnation is unproductive and perhaps inflammatory, creating an energetic feedback that encourages more of the same.
If an individual is given to improvement, the entire Realm has improved alongside his progress.
If an individual is downcast and dissuaded from his better self, it then also occurs that all around him are in sympathetic sorrow, and brought into likeness to his condition.
It follows with all things and all beings, that constant improvement is required, and an uplifting - rather than a disapproval or down-casting of that being.
Conversely it is to no improvement when one falsely attributes praise to the unpraiseworthy.
There is no benefit to believing a negative to be a good, as this is potentially harmful to all also.
Once again the point is always of the value, and is not about the feeling, or the secondary side concerns.
Unwarranted positive thinking in this manner is unproductive, unhealthy, and not to be encouraged as it hinders true improvement.
Goodness is its own reward.
If you effect an act of kindness, usefulness, cheerfulness, charitableness, effectiveness, you may not necessarily perceive the ennobled outfall, but nonetheless you will be immediately replenished with the same cosmic light that feeds all happenings. In this we feel, and are, closer to God. For it is by His Will that His children are helped along - and any emissary of this work, in this way, completes His Will.
And from the singular source of all, comes the outpouring life to the many.
As we frequent doubts and self criticism, understand that these ideas are fruitless. To disparage ourselves or others, only encourages more of the same.
God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? James 4:12
