Choices- Good Friday 9th April 1993

THE besmirchment of holiness, the degradation of the sublime, "This I do ..." was indeed the one significant event above all others. And at the time, the pain which was met with, resounded out from the planet, extending beyond so as to be chanced upon by all of those amassed in the layers awaiting solemn outcome.

For it was truly at this time that it was possible that our beloved Globe may have been cracked and spent. That the violation which was borne unto Christ would retaliate back upon all life, which was but as His. . . and it was saved by Him.

Herein is remarkable account of that which was a twofold miracle for Man and his related Kingdoms. That by His Strength, His Might, His Determination and His Love, the world and all of its occupants were saved, saved for posterity and also saved from immediate disaster. This disaster passed by merely as an endarkened shudder, because of the choice made in the moment by our beloved Christ. For may He have been tempted to abandon those who did afflict Him poorly, too naive and proud to see His reality before them? And yet from all of this, one can speculate that Christ Himself beheld a vision for the outcome, for the continuance of His Humanity.

School of Cranach

Little children so loved Him because they could see Him. Sometimes He would appear as much, much larger, and always smiling unto them. No grief, no condemnation, no whip or bat - and the infants were overcome with joy to play at His feet, and tug at His robe - as a little chap once, running after his Hero, found the fallen cloth and returned it. . .

Within these children, all children, was great and magnificent inspiration for our dear Lord. They were, as it were, His community in which His heart was eased, but also most potent. He need not speak to impart the treasured 'nuance' which was to follow into the world of thought thereafter. He need not reprimand the innocents, for it was they who knew Him, they who would willingly and gladly come to Him, as He to them.

Infant Man is and was adorable! It was the children which brought mercy to a world which perhaps, might have been given over to the proceeds of its own corruption. It is possible.

Yes, perhaps it is negligible to speculate upon this now, and yet the reality is, that were it not for direct intervention by Christ, on behalf of our physical world, it would have been torn and made separate to all of that which spiritually sustains it. This is no small matter; and of course too, there was the larger consideration of the original mission, for which all Men were valued and determined to be of worth. They were weighed and measured and accounted for.

It has been said repeatedly that Man has a future which is somewhat 'open-ended'. In honesty one may say that all things are possible, however today is a day when we do not try to consider the preponderations, but rather remember that Christ Himself has defined Man and endeavors to continue to do so.

Given this, men are not lent to insubordinate hierarchies, but truly coherent to a plan as laid down. Now, there are all of the usual considerations upon this thinking - allowing for exceptional spin-offs, deviations, etc. etc. - however one can say most firmly that the Vision of Man for Men shall be fulfilled.

The Vision of Christ brings to it those who are in accordance with Him, so that even if, for whatever reason, this generation of the World failed collectively to become Christ-men, those who were of Him are by His choice to remain and break away from the body to whom they are related. This is of course is in direct contrast, nay contradiction, to that provision as given by Christ for all Men, namely: He will not forsake them; but yet equally, He may not force their choosing, as this freedom was so afforded them by Him also.

We are in debt to Christ for this our spiritual and worldly life. This debt is uncalled upon, and although relinquished by He to whom we owe, it is a Christian reality to pronounce the tears of gratefulness, of thankfulness, for this our salvation.

He asks for nothing, but hopes for much, and they are potent hopes, mighty visions, if we are so inclined. Thank Christ we did not perish on that low day. We thank also the little children who did give representation of the true seed of Christ-men, as beheld in the future in great hope by our Lord.

Amen

A Prayer for our Beloved Christ

Our Father, our dear Creator, of us, of all of us,
And those of High Dominion, Throne upon Throne,
Grand station and Principality -
We pray today for our Beloved Christ,
That He may be awarded much Grace,
In such amounts as needed that He shall not tire...
We pray for His happiness, that He may know of our gratitude.

Though there be difficulty, may He never be thwarted.
For He is especial to us, and we His first consideration.

Today, as we meet minds,
We pray that we may return some of that Love
Which He has poured into our being.
Should we catch sight of Him upon the cross,
May we tenderly lower Him down,
And pluck the bondages away,
And with a blanket soft and warm,
May we shroud the cold and rigid form,
And wash, ever so carefully, the blood and oil now rancid.

For surely He is not dead! This One,
Seized with but a temporary death!
And lo! Feel the Strength, and the Warmth,
And His Life empower the feeble frame...

God grant Him all that He shall need,
That He may see us through the perils which await afore us,
We ask you this, and thank you accordingly.

AMEN

About the Future

How rare and exquisite,
Are the virtues blended,
And struck within a man!

By the power of revelation
Man finds his immortality,
And by right association,
He comes to the likeness of God.

We thank thee oh Sovereign Host,
With much jubilation and profound joy,
For this our future.

Prayer to the Dead

To ramparts secure,
And priories up high,
Into sweet territory,
Where the humors make station;
Safe bastions harboring
Those who dream well,
The goodly souls
That gently rest
Protected from the wild unfathomables,
Unruly obstacles,
And hideous extractions.
There in fruit-filled groves they go,
In fanciful fulfillment.

We pray for they

Whom we have known,
Now departed this world,
Into death.

To the Divinity of Significancy

To the Divinity of all things which are significant,
We implore you, forget us not!

You who bring the charm and currency,

The pertinence and the individuality –

Each to be distinguished.

For without we would not be,

For we would be but another.
We thank Thee,

For this signature and obstinacy.

To the Divinity of Exuberance

Dear Divinity of Exuberance,
Please mark us with your visitation.
You who are the power which propels,
Come quickly before we expire!

And to each hapless, hesitant beginning,
Move us to fervor, extreme and fulfilled,
Empowered with an exuberance divine.

Prayer for the Angels of Color

We come to you,
Angels who live in the light,
You who project forth in visible transparency –
How perfect Thy art! Thy workings!
And Thy wondrous expression!
We are enriched by the colors You bring to us,
Each throbbing variation.

We thank Thee oh Angels of purple,
Of Cosmic incline,
You who have encaptured this tone,
Holy and sublime,
Sanctity manifest on the face of a flower,
This color gives to the world,
An inoculation of High Holiness,
The regal and royal purple.

And to the associate Angels of blue,
We thank Thee also –
Verily Space may live,
In your hues of expanse and containment.
The ego you bring,
In sky or in water, in iris or cornflower.

Angels of yellow:
You speak to us of the golden radiance
Ever with hope,
For it is life itself,
In marriage to orange, so stimulated.
Essence incorporated, the bright, bright yellow,
Tells men of such liveliness as moves through them.

Dear custodians of red,
Of Cosmic Will,
The shock, the impact,
The driving of manifestation.
Thank you for blood and beetle-back,
Rose and berry.
Masters of green,
The expression of expression!
Crimson you be in disguise!
We find sanctuary in this:
Your umbrella of spirit clothed,
Proceeding in growth,
We thank Thee also.

Celestial pink,
The Angel's flesh,
Heaven's promises incarnate,
The gentle whispers of soul upon the earth,
In being.
We thank thee too.

For colors do enter in,
And impart significantly,
Each an equation in relation,
Each a child of the light.
So many hidden, not yet forthcoming,
To these we wish Grace as well,
And pray for the Angels’ wellbeing,
Who enrich the definitions of life.
Amen

Prayer for Time in the World

Dear Christ,
As we pray in this moment time presses in upon us,
And labors our bodies and our minds;
We are unsure of our advance into the future,
And call to You that we may be allotted the wisdom
To use each moment of each day, fruitfully.

We come to You in gratitude,
That today we live, we breathe, we feel,
And that the warmth of life embellishes
Our earthly form and frame.

Let us be mindful of the gift that each day brings,
And knowledgeable that no effort is effort wasted.
We pray for continuance,
And ask that we may become keen to this life,
Bringing much of Your Love into the days we live.

Amen

Prayer for Surmounting Failure

Heavenly Father,
I pray for reprieve,
I come to You,
That I may be healed of my tumors of incongruity.

There is sadness in my bosom,
And many tears held back, beneath,
Much loss unanswered, subtle torment and grief.
The woes I lament are not as troubles to You,
And yet indeed, as they trouble me and stifle happiness,
My pain is troubling to You. . .
May I surrender this upset, all of my disquiet,
To You Dear Lord?
And by doing so, may I heal,
That I best serve you, renewed and revised,
And neither You nor I be tormented by these troubles now past.
May I desist from self-mocking and rather, knowingly review,
And accept that shortcomings lead to long roads well trod,
And know that experience counts for much;
Gratefully accepting all compensatory activity
Which shall rebound upon each and every movement of my being.
And herewith, return to You Dear Lord,
Knowing that you would not have me overburdened.
Please release me into Your Expression,
That I may overcome my sorrow for such failing.

Amen

To Know Christ

Consummate Christ,
You have followed me,
Throughout all of the ways,
Ventured in and upon.
You were there at my side
As a small child,
As Chief Protector.

When I know not
Whom I am to be,
When I know not
Where I am to go,
You are still beside me
Knowing for me.

I pray that I shall come to know You also,
And converse in spirit-speak,
And grow towards Your Light,
Which flows forth
And saturates my being.

Amen

Meditation: the Oar

Exclusive to Christ,
Adamant in the reality of complete and perfect Love,
Quick to respond to the curious World:
That World without,
That World within.

Inspired and transfused,
Here, the ennobled spirit descending –
Enraptured, enlivened and buoyant
Upon the pulse of time.

Neither frail nor whole,
I am nestled in amongst good company.

Gentle strength which uplifts,
Compassion the oar,
The invisible hand does steer well with;
Dark the river, silent the waters –
Thus my soul is ushered forth,
And drawn ever on…..

For Configurations: the Community of Christ

Beloved Saints and Martyrs,
And to all who bear witness to our King of Mercy: our Christ-
We call to you, oh cherished members,
That you might include us in your divine and orderly transpirations ...

We ask that we may become as Knights to your Order;
Knights virtuous, pledged and true,
To an almighty movement of Heaven to Heart,
Heart to Earth, Earth to Heaven and back again.
For all good purpose and divine engineering,
For peace-making and strength to defend such peace,
For freedom for men and that they be free to be men.

We call to your fellowship,
And offer all that we have to the Order of Christ and associated brethren.
Let all beings who are like-minded, and true also in heart,
Be welcomed to our quarters and afforded assistance for need.

We pray too, on behalf of all men,
That they will awaken to their rightful allegiances,
And come to you also,
Dear brothers in love.

Amen

For Overcoming Doubt

To our cherished benefactors of the Faith:
We call upon you that we may ease our doubts:
For Doubt makes his visit, and does ridicule us heavily;
Especially at those times when we are forlorn.

We call to you that you might share a measure of your –
Unshakable certainty,
Undeterred constancy,
And immovable faith.

May we experience your –
Open dedication,
Complete and tried commitment,
And pure motivations.

Shall we come to know of your –
Tireless application,
Forthright instigations,
And pious proliferations
In all endeavor.

And may we, like you, come to –
Steadfast determination,
Centered in God,
Around which all else does pivot.

Prayer against Cynicism

Dear and Beloved Father,
To whom we all entrust,
We pray today,
For all of that false thinking and judgment,
Undue and unjust,
And for all of those who suffer such constraints,
As delivered by prejudicial cynicism and its offspring.

We know that the bounty becomes as ruined and spoiled,
When men pretend that beauty is no more than filth,
Quick to corrupt Your fragile Grace.
We know also that such splendor will not be denied,
And that the poison that is contempt,
Need only meet with such Understanding as is Yours,
To become as true Love, tight-bound in new found sympathy.

Oh dear God, let men be brought to Your Illumined Mind,
And empowered by such Wisdoms, that can contrast truth from lies,
And do so withstanding those personal convictions
Which contradict Your Law, Your Love and Divine Perspective.

We are humbled in our approach to great knowledge,
We are with apology for all of our false presumptions,
And we pray that we may come to higher knowledge
With reverence and true reception,
For all of Your array of Wisdom's beauty.

Amen

A Prayer for the Earth

Holy Sepulcher,
We cling to thee with ever a fond recall ...
We pray for your wellbeing today and call upon those beings
To whom your passage is entrusted,
To protect well our advancing Planet, and keep her safe.

We call too, into the realm of Men,
That they may tend to her lovingly and take heed of her wisdom,
For good hygiene is good ecology,
And good ecology subsists the continuance of much dear life and lives.

We thank thee for your being,
And your vast and welcoming comprehension of us;
And we pray for your happy continuance, furtherance and evolvement.

Dear Father, we ask you to remember our Earth,
That she shall be protected at all times from harm and disease.
We pray that you will grant her continuance in this fine effort,
And value her being, as we who gather unto her, most certainly do.
We are committed to her concerns,
And pledge to defend her where needed.
We ask you to never forsake this precious planet,
And all of her relatives.

Amen

A Prayer for the Sun-18th May 1993

To the Natural Order,
To the Power which excels
Each bud and leaf, each sprout and propulsion,
Each umbrella of growth, change and re-growth -
May we meet with you,
That your wisdom infills us and speaks to us of life.

We cherish this meeting,
We truly celebrate this moment,
As grand and gracious, the lady comes,
She who inspires life manifest.
We look to rebirth, reorder and renewal,
And compose ourselves in gratitude
For an ever replenishing new order.

We thank thee Sun, for your being.
AMEN

Destiny’s Trek throughout Soluble Time- 1993

Pacing the agonies,
Commanding a mulish swagger;
Impartial to the politics of an undecided fate -
So loved by nurturing attendants proud;
The infant-Man requests his pack;
Contests the value of provisions had,
And gnaws the remaining wisdoms back.

With a staff to make steady,
Engineered from the wood of an upright post,
He is now to be ready
For exploration as is never known.
The nausea of failure's bin
Shall not happen upon him,
The commonplace man.

The poison of the stinging rebukes halts not
The forward-stepping saint
Who contrasts mightily
The hapless doughty,
And the stumbling formation
Which drags at the consul.

Think not that any praise be sweet,
Or more complete than true reward:
For tokens shine as light on water
Whilst cordials drawn
From effort's elixir
May hush the frenzies
And appease the ceaseless fervor.

Not one thing stops,
In this shifting design.
This God-inspired life
Allows no denial
Or camouflage
Out from this continuance.
If this spinning top stops
We all stop,
And as Life mystifies
It has not the wherewithal
To turn back upon its own.

Step forward with courage
Into Future's embrace,
For there in the alcove
Sweet accompaniment waits;
With guiding hand and
Love's shining face;
For this is the Present
Endowed in the Future.

A Prayer for Wellbeing

Our Father, our Christ, our Heavenly Legions,
We call to You this moment on behalf of all that is wanting and without.
We know of Your tender Mercies, and we know also how You wait,
Held back, like a beggar at Your own door -
That hearts may once again be open to receive You.

We pray today for each one who suffers, be them adult or child,
On Earth, or on the threshold.
And we urge that each be brought sweet comfort and relief,
From whatever tortures they may endure.
And we pray also, that we too may be keen and quick to soothe,
To comfort, to remedy an ill, where possible.

May we be Your vessel for the Holy Supplications,
That imparted through these hands: our words,
Your Spirit quickens us and is manifest in evidence,
In what we are, and are to become.

Holy Sympathies, we know of Your Tears also,
And we pray that this pain which corresponds between our world,
And the High World, shall cease its fluctuations.
We await that day when familiar struggles are only as joy,
And all conflict is answerable. . .
When death itself is vanquished.

To all of those who are lonely and without good company -
May they trust once again in the Divine Companionship that one may bring to another.
Great Love ushers us in,
But amongst the parade of endless surprise,
Our attentions are drawn out and away,
From the recognition of our binding affections.
Let all men return, and grief be no more suffered.
And for those who have withstood courageously,
May Your Blessings empower their courage the more,
That they never have need, falter or weaken.
For many have only such courage to sustain them,
And no man would willingly affront their woes in place of they the pitiable.

Give us the courage also, that we may not fear demise,
But rather know that all perils do pass,
Whilst we throughout, endure.

Amen

A Prayer for the Work

Beloved Christ, Master to all great teachers in the World,
We come to you today in prayer to ask for Your Guidance, in these our efforts.
Too often have we erred with false judgment,
And many times prone to sweet deceptions,
Still yet we are eager to become as perfect men and women!

We pray that we shall not be dissuaded from this,
But hold fast to Your Promise, Your Vision, which You defend.
And we shall be your champions also -
Defying doubt and the guiles of false logic.

Let those who protest the glory of men
Suffer their visions affecting no other;
Until such a time that we pray will arrive,
When they exhaust their improvisations
And come to You Dear Christ, again.

Lord, Your Sweet Breath enters this very room,
The same Breath which spins orbs upon their axes,
And moves with such might,
A might that will inflict no harm.
May we come to learn of the Mysteries of this;
And cheerfully repel the insults of all great and meager contestants.

Amen

Invocation to Christ

Beloved Christ, we pray that Your Presence be amongst us,
As You stand before each and every one of us.
As You Love us, we love You also.

Behind You follows a legion of souls, faithful and illumined,
Gathering in to be close to You.
We welcome them also, and bid them take interest in this our meager work - may it be empowered with the miraculous and with Your Blessing.

Let each man come to know Your way, and each soul thrill to salvation;
Salvation that You give.

We pray for restoration:
That the hopeless regain their hope, the heartless regain their heart,
The faithless regain their faith, and the humorless regain their love and sympathy.
May we care for the despicable, nurture the outcast and shelter the lost.

We pray that we be mindful that time is Yours firstly.
Should we deny giving time to that which You would choose us do?
When all is said and done, You are the rightful Keeper of all time,
And all effort in time which is not of you, is as naught.

Dear and Beloved Christ, as Your Blood spills into ours,
We pray for the ennoblement of all Men.
Uplift us with Your Wings of accompanying Cherubim,
That we may be raised high enough to gaze upon Your Countenance.

Master of the World, we pray for Your Consideration.
Every day afforded us here is marvelous opportunity to work a good deed, forge a perfect arrow.

AMEN

An Invitation- 1993

THERE has been but one message handed down and put to the advanced and not so advanced among men, and that is namely: of the solidarity of all men.

It is inconceivable that one should choose suicide out from his own. It is, as the Earth tremors with tensions which are essentially reflective of the inner conflicts of Man, irreconcilable to God that men are divided in any way. We do not deny individuality, we rejoice in individuality, for by such distinctions we are what we are. But let it be heard yet again until heard aright:-

No prize and no package may make up for a lost humanity, and no being other than Christ is qualified to be as Chief Example, as a Living Vision for Men as their future.

There is such a thing as corrupt and distorted esoteric truth, many may have refuted this, many are content to eat putrefied fruit and relish its soured juices. But we can tell you there is better to be had and that there are men who wish only the best for you; and offer it freely.

So if you may awaken for time enough to make a start on these works offered, we hope and pray that they are made valuable to your soul, who infills by such issue.

Invocation to Our Father

Oh Great and Glorious Father dear,
We call to You from the East to the West, from the North to the South,
In resolution of Your indefatigable Love and Consideration, for us Your children.

As each one sits awaiting supplication, our hearts and minds call out to You,
Content with all that You have given us.
We pray that we may know this contentedness more fully.
And if we become obstinate or downhearted we ask for reconciliation to be granted within.

We look for You Father, in the East to the West,
We search for You also, from the North to the South;
As Your touch inflames all life, we are ever motivated to seek You out;
We give thanks, for this our life,
And pray that we shall prove worthy of your love.

AMEN

Notes on the Nephilim

THERE is a good argument for including Book of Enoch in the general canon - as it is has always been in Ethiopia. It is one of the older Old Testament books and there are references to it in the existing Western canon. In the Book of Enoch is a wonderful description: (The Manicheans also had a version of this tale, entitled The Book of Giants.)
The Book of Enoch:
Chapter 6
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqlel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens.

Chapter 7
And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

Chapter 8
And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, 'Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal (taught) astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . .

There is a more detailed description of the fate of the Nephilim- here termed the hosts of Azazel:

Here is an excerpt:
Chapter 54
"And I looked and turned to another part of the earth, and saw there a deep valley with burning fire. And they brought the kings and the mighty, and began to cast them into this deep valley. And there mine eyes saw how they made these their instruments, iron chains of immeasurable weight. And I asked the angel of peace who went with me, saying: ' For whom are these chains being prepared ? ' And he said unto me: ' These are being prepared for the hosts of Azazel, so that they may take them and cast them into the abyss of complete condemnation"
And now, from C.G.Harrison's
The Transcendental Universe 1893:

"It was a fall of the angels of light, the "sons of God" who "saw the daughters of men that they were fair" and united themselves to them in the bonds of matter. This fall from heavenly to earthly love brought them immediately under the dominion of Satan, the prince of this world, and inaugurated on earth the reign of physical and intellectual force.
"This union of intellect and form was the origin of the arts and sciences. Civilization advanced by leaps and bounds, but it was a curse rather than a blessing. By the time the Fourth Root Race, with its physical and intellectual giants, had reached the apex of its development, the whole earth was filled with violence, and the great cataclysmic period, known as the Flood and preserved in the traditions of all nations, swept them and their children away.
"These semi-human creatures, the progeny of the fallen angels, are known in the Hindu Scriptures as the "Asuras" and are sometimes called "Rakshasas" or demons, but they are quite distinct from the offspring of the "incubi" and "succubae" who spring from the element of water (not, of course, material water, but the aqueous or static principle of the universe).

"The Asuras are igneous, or dynamic, in their nature, and their power for evil was terrific. It was destroyed for ever by the advent of Jesus Christ, and they are now, as St. Jude puts it, "reserved in everlasting chains until the judgment of the great day."'

"Stated in scientific terms, they are held in check, unable to move backward or forward......

"This text in S. Jude has been unfortunately misunderstood, and supposed to apply to Lucifer and the first fall of the angels-hence the Miltonic and mediaeval myths."

From A.E. Waite's The Secret Doctrine in Israel:

First the argument over the creation of Adam:
"There was another class, the downfall of which was consequent on the Holy One assembling several legions of superior angels and advising them that He intended to create man. They appear to have replied by quoting the Psalmist when he said: "Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish."
"Thereupon the Holy One stretched forth a finger and burned these blessed legions, after which He called others into His presence and made the same statement, to which they answered on their part: "What is man that Thou art mindful of him and the son of man that Thou visitest him."
"The Lord explained that man should be made in His image and would be superior to those whom He addressed. It does not appear what happened to these legions. There were, moreover, those Sons of God who "saw the daughters of men that they were fair," and they included Aza and Azael, who entered into a dispute with Shekinah on the advisability of creating Adam, seeing that he would end by sinning with his wife, to which Shekinah replied that before they could make accusations of this kind it must be postulated that they would prove more chaste in their own persons.1

"This was the conclusion for the moment, but the children of God had recourse to the daughters of men and "took them wives of all that they chose."
"The result was that Shekinah stripped them of their sanctity and of all part in eternal beatitude, which had been the case also with the rebellious angels belonging to the first category: these are burnt eternally in Sheol.

"When Aza and Azael were cast down, they assumed bodies on earth and were imprisoned therein. 2

"It was subsequently-according to this version--that they were seduced by women and are alive at this day, still instructing men in the art of magic, which they had begun to teach soon after their descent. They were chained on certain black mountains, which Laban and Balaam frequented for instruction in the forbidden art.
”There were in all five orders of intelligence which seem to have been cast out of heaven, and some of these were incarnated as men. These were the Giants of Genesis, the Nephilim, the descendants of Amalec, the Intruders of the Talmud, and so forth. It is on record that they destroyed the Temple.

Notes to the above:
1 Certain codices of the Zohar cause the Shekinah to intimate at this point that Adam will indeed end by sinning with a single woman, but it will prove also with her that 'he will be able to repair the fault, while the lost angels will sin with many women and will be deprived of all reparation.

2 They belonged to that class who appeared under the form of men, and it was possible therefore for them to exist on earth. They assumed bodies to come down and because of their revolt they could not unclothe to reascend. By their union with women they engendered giants, the "mighty men of old," and "men of renown," mentioned in Gen. vi, 4.”
According to Harrison, the Nephilim are the Rakshasas or Giant Demons of the Hindu tradition. If you look up "Rakshasas" in Theosophical literature, you will get more of the story.

In H.P. Blavatsky's The Secret Doctrine, there are many explanations for this race of the Rakshasas in Oriental esoteric philosophy. See, for instance: The Secret Doctrine, Book 2, p. 288, where it speaks of ‘Rakshasas’ (giant demons) and Daityas (Titans).
Rudolf Steiner, The Temple Legend, Berlin, 10th June 1904:

"It was a sin when ‘The Sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair’ and took them wives; they took them wives from the daughters of Cain.

"From this union resulted a race of men which is hardly even mentioned in the published books of the Old Testament, but is only hinted at; it is a race that is not perceptible to physical eyes. It is called ‘Rakshasas’ in occult language and is similar to the ‘Asuras’ of the Indians.

"It consists of demonic beings who really did exist at one time and who acted seductively upon the human race and caused its downfall. This flirtation of the Sons of God with the daughters of men produced a race which worked particularly seductively upon the Turanians, the members of the fourth sub-race of the Atlanteans, and led to the destruction of humanity. Some things were preserved and carried over into the new world. The Deluge is the flood which destroyed Atlantis. Men who were seduced by the Rakshasas disappeared by degrees.

"And now I have to tell you something which will in any case appear extraordinary to you, which is particularly important. It has been an occult mystery for the outside world for many centuries and will seem incredible to most people, but is nevertheless true. I can assure you that every occultist has often convinced himself of its truth through what is called the Akashic Record. But so it is.

"These Rakshasas were real beings, they really existed — actively and effectively — as seducers of mankind. They continued to influence human desires until the time when Christ incarnated in Jesus of Nazareth and the Buddhi principle itself became present on the earth in a human body.

"Now you may believe it or not: this is something of cosmic significance, of significance which reaches beyond the earthly plane. It is not for nothing that the Bible expresses it thus:  ‘Christ descended into the forecourts of Hell.’ It was not human beings He met there, He was confronted by spiritual beings. The Rakshasa beings were brought thereby into a state of paralysis and lethargy!

"They were at the same time kept in check so that they became unable to move. They could only be lamed in this manner because they were being opposed from two sides. That would not have been possible if there had not been two natures combined together in Jesus of Nazareth: on the one hand the old Chela nature, deeply connected with the physical plane, which could also work effectively on the physical plane and through its power could hold it in balance: on the other hand there was Christ Himself who was a purely spiritual being.

"That is the cosmic problem which is fundamental to Christianity. Something occurred at that time in occult spheres; it was the banishment of the enemies of mankind which has its echo in the Saga of the Antichrist, who was put in chains but will make his appearance again, if not opposed once more by the Christian principle in its primal force.

"The whole occult striving of the Middle Ages was directed towards nullifying the effect of the Rakshasas. Those whose vision extends to the higher planes have long foreseen that the moment when this could happen might be at the end of the nineteenth century, at the transition from the nineteenth to the twentieth century.

"Nostradamus, who worked from a tower which was open to the heavens, who brought succour during the Great Plague, was able to foretell the future. He wrote a number of prophetic verses in which you can read about the war of 1870 and several prophecies about Marie-Antoinette which have already been fulfilled. In these ‘Centuries’ by Nostradamus (Century 10, 75) the following prophecy can be found: At the close of the nineteenth century a Hermes Brother will come from Asia and bring unity to mankind. The Theosophical Society is nothing less than a fulfillment of this prophecy of Nostradamus. The annulment of the Rakshasas and the reestablishment of the primal mysteries is an aim of the Theosophical Society.

"You know that Jesus Christ remained on the earth for ten years after His death.  The Pistis Sophia contains the profoundest theosophical teachings, it is much more profound than Sinnett's Esoteric Buddhism. Jesus incarnated again and again. His task was to renew the mystery wisdom. This is no mere fact of cultural or historical interest, but it is the fact I have described to you, which is well known to all occultists, namely, the struggle against the Rakshasas. You see there is a deep and important occult secret lying hidden therein.

"You might ask: Why is that said in allegorical form and not stated openly? I must here remind you that the great teachers of humanity such as Moses, the Indian Rishis, Hermes, Christ, the first Christian teachers, all adhered to reincarnation. And this allegorical way of communicating wisdom had a good reason. When, for instance, the Druid Priest spoke of ‘Nifelheim’ or ‘Ymir the Giant’ and so on, that was, of course, no mere piece of poetic folklore."
