History, World history, is but a bedrock built of human bones. Generations of souls in brief interlude, planting themselves that they may come again.
The greatest of all to commit and to die, was and is, our beloved Christ, for which we will also become.
Yes, death is death, yet it is on the ‘bright side’ gateway to the Eternal.
He holds our hands, He is ever present - His gift of dying effected so many sequential events, and not the least is the way and the manner our souls slip from this World into the next.
Before the Crucifixion of our beloved Christ, before He travailed the depths to the heights, the common man would lose his consciousness when leaving his body after death.
One could argue that consciousness in general was different in those times regardless - that the individual was not so individual - he was a corporation of karma: that of his tribe/race, that of his own, and, even affected by the beings of life, in body and nature all around him.
His consciousness lived on the outside of his physical body and was dispersed accordingly.
When death came his disconnection and separation was a mixed experience - partly the consciousness could inhabit another family member and be retained somewhat within the earthly sphere. Partly the soul would dissipate into the native realms etc. and even the bodily realms it had associated with.
Oft times reincarnation could be surprisingly fast when returning back into the weave and weft of the family corporate.
In this respect men (meaning all) were alike to the animals with group souls, save for there being a kernel of God ready (not latent) to ripen.
Of course there are myriads of blessing from Christ’s actualisation and from His passing - and we cannot reduce it down or trivialise the corporeal extravaganza which was to follow.
Suffice to say that stars fell to Earth and now each soul was united with their parent - each with a light of their own - each with a direct pathway beyond the earthly rebound - that when passing through they are now complete and free, and awake to all around them.
This newfound freedom, this liberation, is no small thing - and, given the timelines, it is incredibly recent in the experience of Humanity.
