Churches- 21st August 1992

FOLLOW the Church bell back to the village, and into the village through to that church. Come out again and hear one hundred church-bells and know that the pinnacles from which they call, extend far over one hundred, one thousand - over a planet, in most regions of the Globe.

The holy forefathers of the church envisioned this with hopes aflame. It may have been difficult enough penetrating country after custom, without the added toil of rock upon rock, building the edifice of faith. We looked to the day when all men should have a church which was local to them. No matter what the overall condition was, it was indeed important for them to have a dwelling which was not inhabited by men - visited, but not inhabited - whereby the Holy Spirit could infill. One which was not contaminated by lowly thoughts, but was set aside with definite purpose, as a statement from men of their love of God the Father, Christ our Protector and Heaven with all her emissaries (not to forget those saints and holy men to whom we are endeared also).

Think of the hopes and also the aspiration, as it was said "Where there are men we shall build a church - or perhaps a great cathedral!" This is civilization at its best. Many, many changes occurred because of this exodus into society and suburb. What was once priority to build a bathhouse or theater became 'the church'.

Formerly, yes, there had always been temples and libraries where scholars could frequent. So too, the many dwellings of all manner of worship and subsequent revelation which were of God, but excluding Christ.

Christianity is very young! Twenty centuries is of little account in the face of men and their adopted reasonings. One would have to say that Christianity was born, but was apparent before its birth; as the infant waivers about the parents before conception.

Similarly, if it were not for a certain few (relatively) there should not have been the advancement into the world as was. For the greatest of powers may not find repose in an unwelcome bosom. There had to be 'takers' - good soil for good seed - and much preparation tens of thousands of years before His coming.

We shall return to the matter of the churches. It is obvious to say that whilst some are full of eager spirits, many are quite empty and under-used. However, more remarkably than that are those societies whose majority do not frequent them all. Not even at Christmas! Because of this we are bound to ask why this is so. For the original vision of erecting our churches in more popular times, offered their community many varieties in many locations. Still, the youth are not drawn, the lonely have withdrawn, the cynical are without.

A congregation would double within a week if each was supplied with an armchair- an armchair and a footstool. (The footstool would make good kneeling apparatus!) The wood of a pew is very beautiful of course, and the emanations from such are undoubtedly of value.

There should be many a protest, as they would suggest that one does not enter a church that they may be so comfortable as to fall asleep. However, how much the better if they are comfortable and content, with the simplest of needs met. One can change a format you know. Perhaps this is the least of issues and yet at the forefront of attitude and the question of opinions and their value. One does not sit their guests upon a bench-seat. One does not choose a bench-seat in preference to a comfy chair - why deny ourselves or our guests?

Observe one who has just 'settled' into the comfortable chair - there is an almighty breathing out (a large sigh) followed by deeper, relaxed rhythmical rises and falls of the chest. The face is not taut, the composure not strained, the 'wildness' of the man has been calmed. Contrary to this, place him on an awkward seat: he does derive the benefit of a properly placed back, but is consciously or unconsciously aware of the displacement of bony bits and fat. The length of time to be endured in one cannot be compared to the other.

Of course there is a splendid inference of community brought about by shared seating; although whether or not this is genuinely enjoyed is another matter.

One may be solemn without being tense. One should enter into a church similarly as one enters into death, and vice versa. In this one would hope for comfort, for reconciliation within, for sanctuary from the busy and erratic affairs of men, for commune with kindred souls and great affections, physical and spiritual warmth, the strength, experience and expression which comes with combined prayer and song, perspicacious thinking- one's home for soul and spirit as differing from that place which we call our everyday home; these and more.

We expect in any case, that a church be inviting. That one would by choice desire to be there above any other, to look forward with lively interest, and that it not be conducted like a business forum, nor with such somber composures as does meet the grave today. Relaxed, and with vitality!

There seems to be a contradiction but it is not so. Vitality does not imply fanaticism nor the mechanics of ritualistic overstimulation within a susceptible low-ego congregation. Vitality comes when the individual is so relaxed as to release his personal demons and submit them to holy reformation; relaxed, that he might surface the consciousness with a pure mind receiving pure insights; relaxed that worldly strains, cares and criticisms may dissolve along with wanton illness; relaxed that he may separate himself and fellow companions from an all-too-binding personality which over-presumes the true individuality. It is essential therefore, for a man to come to worship in a condition of body and mind and attitude which is relaxed.

It is wise therefore if anger or such words that might provoke anger, should be avoided by all speakers. There is a place for social forums to be aired with political allusions (generally by contemptuous people), but it does break the disposition of holy reverence to be exposed to the emanations which angry words expel and draw. It is preferable, far preferable, that all words issued are sympathetic and not antipathetic. One can be sympathetic to joy, as to sorrow, as to God, however that which is antipathy brings with it tensions which are no longer responsive to the remedy.

It must be said that not one church has failed. Insomuch as the men who did carry forth what necessarily began only as a vision - each and every church is a testament to the courage of men: courage to put Heaven first.

And it is not only the entity and establishment and the legacy left after both have dissipated, it is also the offshoot organizations which actually become entities also, because of the central 'lighthouse' of faith. The overall influence gives attributes to the surrounding community; as does a resident monastery also. The community will prosper with beings who are so attracted, assisting in all manner of organizations, bringing elements necessary to their continuance, to their cognition. For whether in business or in institution, certain elements are altogether necessary as ingredients to that survival and maintenance of that entity. And all aspects must run in compliance with one another, similarly to characteristics in which an individual is mixed.

The Roman Catholic Church evolved along these lines of itself, whereby the original hierarchical entity brought to it those attributes which could motivate almost any organization envisaged and designed. Well apart from radiating much of this to the general surrounding population, such influence and force turned within itself, incorporating elements which would best have suited general society. It succeeded however, in becoming 'worldly' successful - with now an emphasis in exoteric enterprise and commitment.

It is not enough to be both - to be so worldly active with political interests and then pretend to be committed firstly to Heaven. The Moslems cannot make this distinction either. One is one or the other in order of priority, one cannot prioritize both; and this is an unsavory idiocy which only provokes bad judgment.

The matters of the world shall always tire, and in time, fail to give over to that which is 'inspired' afresh. Pursuits of the world and of men are just fragments, and a church is best confined to exploits of nurture, of healing, of feeding; if it is to be involved in the world at large. However, if it is to hold investments and controlling interests in corporations and local governments; and become distinctive as to who its 'preferred' souls are. . . then it gives over to the world and is a sham instead of divine representative.

Again however, one must stress that it is perhaps an evolvement to be expected, and that entities as brought about by men may move onto some other body of men who are most 'like' the entity, as was originally inspired. You cannot necessarily expect the entity to indefinitely bond with a group which is in name only; and furthermore, it shall remain if it is to be furthered, but not if it is without 'feeding' - feeding of the stuff which it is colored by (characterized by).

And so in others, that which was and is the original Roman Catholic Church may be most happily attuned and expressing itself in some remote region of central Africa, or conversely (and most likely), be dwelling amongst the Shi’ite Moslems - working an influence there also.

Many an oriental entity was drawn into the early church. Many a corresponding entity has passed through the doors of the highest spiritual passion. And many a newborn takes shape and form and becomes 'inspired' by men with original trends in pronouncing a future world.

The church as entity - or more correctly, a multiplicity of entities - relies on a daily account of exactly the expression it has to offer. The merit, the character, of each unique body of men, deigns exactly what shall be brought to them, and what becomes of their signatory being. The 'mascot' was a symbol of this, so too the totem and the sacred animal. If the ego-consciousness of the group is inclined to be encouraged to be suppressed, then it can happen that the entity as born from the people, begins to dictate and persuade the group as a whole.

Unison need not be divorced from individuality of those united. True community is only realized when men have developed a corresponding condition within themselves.

If the consciousness is at a low ebb and requires external stimulation to determine judgment, if it cannot be aroused by internal discernment, if a man gives over his powers to some other agent, then he cannot develop aspects whilst denying them. And if he cannot develop, he may not come to full attainment of those specifics required to meet with his own humanity. If he cannot meet with his own humanity, he clearly cannot distinguish or experience community with fellow men. He may give over to the appearance of such, with little or no qualified love or ability to truly do so.

Of course, in part and fully, we do not have to be five-star souls to enable us to embrace our community, but we are speaking of yet a fuller realization than is known now. How wonderful to think that by such individual development we do not draw away from fellow men, but indeed move much closer. This is the nature of true comprehension*.

We are fortunate to be enabled to fill with virtue and divine knowledge in the manner that a fruit fills with water until it swells against the skin. And our development is all the more possible when our endeavors run aside those of our friends and fellows. Pick your friends well!

Returning to the concept of comfortable chairs in church: we should wonder at our readiness to dismiss such a notion. Why the protests? And we should question our perspective and consideration of worship in the face of such issues as personal comfort corresponding with such.

If one is fortunate to have beverages, heating and fabrics for upholstery, one can certainly make the initial effort to echo such comforts as are known and experienced, without being overly lavish in the enterprise. If indeed the fittings and the comforts were commensurate with those of the Dorchester, or any lounge of a five-star hotel, what would be the bother? You know people would certainly attend - and happily!

Why the argument as to 'common folk' enjoying such comfort? This does not mean that one introduces a casino (and we might add that Bingo is an undesirable evil as any), nor that one needs paid help or the trappings of a wine bar. But one can get a 'feel' for an environment which has all the attributes of absolute comfort as well as beauty.

Comfort is very different to sensual pleasure which may be overindulged. As described before, it heals the weary, and provides for an even state of mind; a reflective repose. To be and feel 'womb held': this is common that men seek such a basic longing.

The church is the portal between this our Earth, and these our Heavens. Before death and rebirth we stand before God and expose our hearts to Him. All that we are is before Him. The church lessens our grief and enables us to come to Him before death calls. And He is the greatest comforter of all.

You can be relaxed in any environment, any chair, any temperature, anywhere, anytime; if you think of yourself as a spirit, rather than a body....Rise above the bench. Rise above it all........and stay there.....

The Brother’s reply:

If one were to follow this statement (in relation to comfortable churches) it may also then follow that there would be no need for the 'spirit' to be within a church at all ... indeed the spirit, rather than the body, can rise above all conditions to refer in prayer, in contemplation, in ecstasy, in devotion, and draw into the physical world many heavenly influences without. Yes, that is one way of perceiving the spiritual in Man.

However, we would go on to suggest that the work placed within churches is that of a collective force - it begets a community of men who are effectual in the spiritual worlds (and back again into the physical) in ways which are not possible for those working solely on their own.

The task of such 'working' alongside other men - of praying together, of directing thought, of partaking in the event of the Sacraments - this work within the church is obviously more powerful when the homogeny is happy. Now, of course it is difficult in the best of conditions given that men are apt to wear many individual problems which follow them into the congregational mix. But even so, if the sanctified space has been maintained properly, there shall be much in this regard made impotent for the time within ...

What is reckoned and actual is the time spent together within those walls moment to moment. And, moment to moment, comfort rather than discomfort, beauty rather than ugliness, fragrance in preference to stench, congenial humor in place of bad temperedness... these will predispose the community as a group to be further enabled into a relaxed and open spirituality combined.

The term 'relax', is used primarily within our teachings to explain a condition of the ego whereby we can take in to ourselves - rather than by definition, just merely falling asleep (although this was discussed).

Prayer can be willful; in which case there would be no need to 'take in' as it were - and yet how wonderful it is when a man in his spiritual transactions can bring into his heart, his being and this world, that which has answered the longings of all.

From our perspective, the time for asceticism is truthfully behind. Men everywhere actually need comfort, help and supplication. These things are not devilish, nor a sign of 'weakness' which is to be ignored. All cries are heard and bring answer, and if we are to be self-appointed agents for the divine then a little assistance, understanding and provision, is surely what is expected and hoped for, from us to our brothers, with all of the care and consideration that it takes.

The proof that development does not come easily is there before us. And during the time that it takes, men require as much help as they can get. Further to this must be the compassionate and patient perspective alongside the assistance - else the help shall be short-lived.

The greater point here though is: if we can 'rise above' the discomforts then that is well and good - but wouldn't it be to greater purpose if we gave cushions to those who can't yet make it?

Laws-17th August 1992

LAWS, as often referred to, are the transcribed themes of fluent projection which underlie and underpin the Creative Powers. If we are to imagine a solid but fluent law, it is often depicted as that which is accredited within a book, or that which is unduly imposed upon those who come within the radius thereof. However, cosmic laws are so intrinsically laid down within the substance and fiber of Creation that they are inseparable, almost indiscernible, interlocked with all which is essential to being.

Quite obviously the importance of such laws merits issue. As undeniable as they are, they - all, each and every one of them - require compliance. When one comes to the extraordinary encounter of running contrary to such a law, they are desisted from furtherance, and as simple as this may sound, it is a lesson which half of humanity (at least) should come to realize.

Men should study their laws! - the laws of Heaven before the laws of Men. For the latter should be decided upon by those who are more qualified in Cosmic regulation.

However, there is a phenomenon apparent within men, in which one may actually resist the awareness of the fundamental tides. This is of itself extremely important to a man; that similarly as his lack of observance, personal karma attributed to him is arrested. By any exertion of will, whilst a man is 'full on' and caught up in activity, he shall divorce himself from the reality of immediate consequence.

All actions are decided upon before a man is moved to activity. His motivation, his controlling logic (if any), his immediate sensibilities, his intuition from which he may draw on reservoirs of experience: all of these allow for the man to begin to exert himself in a particular direction beneath those starry fissures, which also, in accordance with laws, assist to determine an outcome from such activity.

However, the moment that one is self-propelled into certain motion, we are restricted to pursue its course until the end- the 'end' being either the final moment of exhausted vitality or the perimeter to that experience as defined by those laws predetermining definition. Therefore it is paramount that where possible, decisions are met with in a meditative, if not quiet mind, which is ill-disposed to answering immediately with activity.

Furthermore it is essential also for a man to set about and practice that which has preoccupied his expectations. He must test the water, so to speak, and often, that he may come to more accurately gauge the 'correctness' of his speculations.

We all struggle to 'fit', indulge and appease the higher laws. No man is so obstinate in soul that he would not knowingly comply. Yet having said that, an overuse (premature use) of will-forces may lead to denial and subsequent stupidity. Such may be mistaken for irreverence and indeed is the qualifying recipe for irreverence; but it is because the man can no longer distinguish, and separates his own will from the true Will of immutable Law. If he cannot come to a conscious reckoning, if he actively resists the acknowledgment of there being laws at all, then he has ventured upon the path of sin and is self-determined- self-determined with every bump and stumble. Sin is self-corrective in the long run, though.

What is it that encourages an individual to become receptive to the trends of Cosmic Law? Given the text above one might surmise that the will-activity dissuades us from a true consciousness of being, therefore we must quieten the exertion of self. This may well be the presumption, however it would be false to say so in the long run.

From this one can see that it is far easier to contain a group of men with set laws if they do not hold license to exert their will at any time. Yes it does actually work, but not for the good of those individuals who are aware of laws which may indeed be false and injurious. For it is good to acknowledge law, but preferable to come to law with acquired discernment.

For every law there shall be one greater from which the lesser has emanated. And for every law as known to man, there shall be an evil which will suggest a perversion. Such perversions are as useless as a ruler shorn at one end - and it need not be by much - that renders the perversion unequivocal!

One may ask: "Which came first: the law, or the provision for that law to replicate?" Laws need hold the consistency of such repetition, even when they are laid down 'out of time'. Repetition is something of an illusion in itself because every time something occurs it is as new, as from the first. True repetition does not really exist. One may take the wave of experience which leads to those conditions as met, from all directions from all beings, and find that each and every situation is vastly different.

Characteristics may resemble and opportunities may re-present, but repetition does not exist, for nothing remains the same and no opportunity lives indefinitely unaltered. The only repetition which is, belongs to the past whereby impressions of that which has gone before is imprinted upon the akasha, the ethers, the individual, and may be recalled over and over again satisfactorily with no diversion. However, the circumstances of such recall will always be different, with those who are living who observe the past before them. One can add here, that there is a hint in this as regards Cosmic Law, and its current resurrection upon a continuum.

Laws are predetermined, but the future, which is comprised of beings lofty and low, is as open-ended and unmarked as a newborn!

There is a purpose of maximum freedom within the superstructure of Cosmic Law. This is contrary to the belief that Law's purpose is confinement, even imprisonment. True laws give the majority licence, whilst protecting the minority as best. Laws provide for splendid cohabitation, without which there should be only floating particles of possibility in an expansive space, loose and limitless, with no power of return.

One can see at first glance the format for Communist ideology in the comprehension of the divine offerings of Law. One may be sensitive to this theory or fixed in opposition, whatever the case, the nature of man either runs alongside and downstream or attempts to ford the impassable.

The game of snakes and ladders was profoundly augmented as a clear example - in point of fact, its creation was for the purpose of divining the position of a man in relation to his future. Skeptical huh?

To continue: As each and every law is met and discerned by man, a deeper understanding prevails, unlike other terms of reference gained from experience or intuition. It is twofold: firstly, there is a revelation when one manages to comprehend a law and take it into themselves- a tool of understanding. Whilst also, there is not only the happiness of discovery - for all laws are gems to behold - but also the affirmation of 'correctness'.

Secondly, one must try and prove such understanding of a law by their own endeavors; and as a result of such effort there is unspeakable reward. One may try many attempts at certain knowledge before becoming so completely intimate with that particular knowledge as to take it into yourself as yours. Even those things which we experience are rarely done so with a full and comprehending consciousness.

As each law is identified, Man builds a minute infrastructure within his being, which in turn, allows for Creation to yet further propagate herself.

Of course, laws by nature do not require observation, acknowledgment and application, to be. But by the power of man (or others in this case) they most certainly can go further to enhance a broader spectrum of existence.

All laws work their way down from Heaven and are the ladder on which we ascend.

Blessed Be...- 13th August 1992

BLESSED be the meek, for it is they who do not impact the verdant Earth. It is they who would not bruise even a peach or pry the flesh from the heart.

Blessed be those who know not cruelty, whose attitude recoils from the hardship of criticism's burdens. That they would ne'er intend to mock, cajole or even offend. . . and treasure their words well spent.

Blessed be all those who weep, in sympathy or struggle dear. The anguish borne depletes the spirit, and may give way to anger and embitterment if they are allowed to cry alone. May they who sorrow know the sweet breath of hope in answer to all prayer.

Blessed be the pious, who with stalwart forbearance uphold the mighty frame of an ever trembling humanity. May they receive ten strengths from Heaven, and know the courage which defies the doubts that run side-stream. Such courage is all the new world requires as foundation.

Blessed be the righteous who have fallen, that we consider those who in lapse, now misgiving, have gone against themselves to provide for an unworthy sin. That they do not acknowledge this lament to be stuck as tar upon the self, but cleanse the guilt through betterment once again.

Blessed be those who seek judgment on their brothers, as perhaps it shall come to them precisely why their brothers have fallen. And too, may they be correct and mindful that penalties are such, that all men who do commit opinion are immediately reviewed themselves.

Blessed be all worldly produce: may the bounty be full and pleasing to men. That the plants give their best and so nurture us well, and concurrently the soil will be tilled with thanksgiving and dutiful respect. May we honor this Nature which sustains our friends, our fellows and our families; and abide no injury upon her face, no insult upon her beauty.

Blessed be the dark in heart, for those with few illumined recesses. . . We pray that they shall overstep their forlorn aloneness and come cautiously out of such degradation, as is the poverty imposed by evil. We call all men to be of humanity, that they do not flinch or shy away from those images of Man adorned: Man in his proper place. That they will permit Christ Himself to enter into their stifling captivity; that He shall soften the armadillo armor-shell; that He shall bring tears to a countenance parched by heartlessness; that He shall strip thee of false dignity and pompous costume, that thee become once more the man that you rightfully are; that He answer your wonderings and prove all expectations feint when compared to the grand reality of being; that He shall comfort your spirit with a presence that heals all harm and loves with great pity; that you may awaken to the true and magnificent quest which awaits the order of you and yours, and all associated kingdoms combined.

Blessed be the troubled, who with no particular affliction, cannot make their way in the world. That they may perceive such worry to hearken to but an inner life- whereupon all motivation is derived. For those who are caught so within the physical realm and persuaded too heavily that that is all there is of spirit, the heart is heavy and optimism dashed repeatedly. And so, for such who are windswept and troubled, may they find self-governance and observation of the deeper mysteries which permeate the world. May they awaken to the unity and remarkable cooperation of all such living detail. That they may marvel at such explicit design, and regain their enthusiasm for true reality.

Blessed be those who are happy. May the sublime continue through their days; and they retain some part of the joy they now experience, and keep it for the not-so-happy days. Be it a promise of prospects which transpose sorrow. Glad they be, and glad again. This we wish for our fellow men.

Blessed be the overly-strict: they who with whip and cane, blaspheme themselves with torturous insults and condemnation. May they too soften with that love which oversteps all minor imperfections as do accompany all men; which until by Grace are unburdened. It is the lenience of Heaven which proclaims "Enough!" and "No more!" be the pain of sin endured. Finally, when we are reprieved, we cannot take the cause totally from self, for the desire and inclination to err is within our understanding. It cannot be both ways, for if we understand it not, there becomes a void to be answered (by experience); and if it is (which it is)- that we intimately know those ways of error- then we are one virtue short of perfection!

Blessed be the sick and the waning: That the physical afflictions dissolve and unharness themselves from such corrupted flesh. That with pneu life they are reborn; their vitality regained and no longer as poison to them. We pray for those who suffer pain and fear of pain, that this be eased by a sweet sleep which shall restore them completely; and that each and every one shall draw beloved Christ afore them; that He shall touch their feeble frame, and by His Presence the demons of sickness shall not remain.

Blessed be those who are stricken with insanity: For those with fevered or extinguished intellects, those who are caught between worlds, but bound to Earth; those who are disgraced by an abandoned consciousness. We pray that they return to normalcy. We pray that those conditions be such, that all madmen may literally 'come to their senses', and that by the grace of the virtues they shall make clean and good their heart to withstand evil. May the accompanying demons be flung from their personage and restoration made.

Blessed be the grateful, who with meager share do not scorn God, but bow in humble servitude, pronouncing all offerings to be good. For the grateful do not offend God, but appease Him. It is only to the grateful that much is given. . . and verily is. All souls know of this, and it is to a realization of our soul's aspect, that we must align and accord. It is only gratitude that we may offer back; such gratitude shall empower service and each dedication.

Blessed be those who scheme, for they shall surely be most surprised come the day of their reckoning!

Blessed be the dead. May we pray for their serenity and acknowledge the purpose of the lives which they had. In fond and loving recall we give thanks for their being, and express to all who are now deceased, our desire to further our ongoing companionship. If there was misunderstanding or even grief which cut between us, it is time to lay all grievances down and commit them to the folly of error. May they be 'lively' in all aspects divine, and know of our appreciation, for they did give of themselves to us and to the world.

Blessed be the argumentative, may they control the tongue of scorn and cease to use words as weapons in some imagined contest of will and concept. That the aggravation known by them and caused by them, be quietened with a happiness which defeats all upset, general or otherwise.

Blessed be the Administering Angels and all of their lovely counterparts. Praise be unto them for the velocity and width and breadth; from shining continent to banded horizon; with graceful tempestuousness, with spirit wild and yet contained. Duty-bound to men, honor placed in God, we thank all such beings who make up the world.

Blessed be the future of men. We pray for safe passage out into the unknown. That although we conject and contrive we are ever reminded of those hindering uncertainties - and for these we do pray that men shall be relieved, and that God shall further His commitment to us, as He has done all along.

Blessed be all simple men, may they be protected from the vile and the corruptive elements. May they who are in innocence, walk as if in effervescent light, one which startles demon and foe. And when approaching the Mysteries, we pray that their hearts be good, strong and dependable.

Blessed be the ugly of soul - the man who hath fallen, the specter who stalks the mirror-Earth. We pray that there be consolation for such wretchedness. We ask for furtherance, that the mold as was man, may be reformed. And we weep for them as mothers would weep, and ask for their repentance, that they again be in likeness to beauty, to God.

Blessed be the attractive: Who as magnet draw such men because of nobility, charisma, fame or desirousness. That they may withstand the pressures of an elevated status, whereby they shall be used again and again. For adoration may be tiresome and to most is not preferred. The burden is much when so many gravitate and would dearly hold on to, that they be beneath such direction. We pray that this responsibility is managed well, and that those men who attract others unto themselves, hold strength of character to withstand the temptations of abusing such credit and approval.

Blessed be the deformed who wear the shame of mankind, that we should be so fragile. For the man who is incomplete bears much which his brothers have afflicted. May they be cared for well, and as well as in charity, in duty also.

Blessed be the World, and from all of her suffering may she arise triumphant as a beacon to those who gave mankind possibility; and for those who dubiously watched on. May she be fulfilled.

Blessed be our Father and His Son, Who by Their Grace and Their Love we belong in actuality. We give thanks for our life and all life which does embrace us, and we pray that we become worthy of the love we have received.

AMEN

Song- 12th August 1992

IN future times to come, all conversations shall be as singing - sung. The voice of man is but in infancy and he has not the contest of pitch versus score - however, see how it is when one has!

There can be no argument as to the power of a word sung well. Of course the power is twofold - being the melody beneath the word also. The operas are a good example of such future passages of conversation (although no one said anything of projecting loudly).

Common speech, of course, has meter and melody of sorts, which although not explicitly musical has obvious inclinations preparing to engender. Oh, the golden tongue would best be sung! And the more one perceives the toneless reply, how cold and awkward the response!

Common speech is unworthy of soulful remonstration. There is a need for the words to be driven with soulful intent, before pure language and delivery may be addressed. It is that the words await great and implicit meaning before speech may evolve a great way further. For this to be achieved, it is to the overall consciousness of Man to which we look; and his sympathetic responses, his acknowledgments, his view of the world and of his brother.

Frequently one may picture those future times to come through windows which examine the past. The 'possibility' of the musical evolvement of speech, is in fact drawn from those times in the past when this was so. However there were not the physical organs as there are today. The emanations of sound upon the ether were produced satisfactorily, from a direct correspondence with the ether itself: sympathetic harmonies.

Some might even theorize that divinity realized best within the physical constitution of Man is his organ of the larynx.

For the main part our subtle, or not so subtle emanations, are unwittingly exuded from our being. We may devastate an area or happily irradiate; whichever the case, we expel that which we are as strongly as the scent is expelled from the gum leaf.

In the case of vocal production, in proper benediction, Man is taking charge of that which he may affect within the world. This is no easy matter, for one is to be in constant check of oneself in order to maintain a fluent, concise, thoughtful rendition. Whilst also the very character of a man shall be determinant, obvious and critical to unique sound and style- until that day of days when it is as second-nature to harmonize and perfect each note as striven for.

The vocal organs themselves are far from completion and presently do not allow the full complex abilities which will be paramount to this expression. So if the singer be frustrated or bemused with his existing ability, he may take comfort in the knowledge of a refined condition which happily awaits his future needs.

Voice production is reliant upon the expulsion of breath, which of itself has been transformed by the man from whom it issues. The actual emission differs from that of an ordinary breath - and what is given to the world by song is everlasting. It remains. From the primeval chant through to the 'enchanting' compositions we now know, all voice has been recorded as a testament to humanity. The impressions upon the ethers remain, pushed out into the outer layer of the Earth's auric shell, where the voice of song becomes as a moving crystal window - very simply, it is just like the colors which move on the surface of a bubble, how they all spill into each other and wind between, and so forth. This is the expression of a collection- of a throng or single voice. It is quite visible to those who are in the aspect which may view the globe from the outer edge.

There is much beauty in this, one may enter this region and prick apart the floating song. Not only shall the version that remains be of a higher aspect, but shall tell of he who sang those notes and of those times and conditions from whence they sprung. If there is great passion or concern, romance or sorrow within the content of that song, that too shall be unwound in the retelling, in the recant.

So it is that that which would appear as less tangible, and verily lost to the wind, is held for time and as exclamation to worlds beyond. There is a paradox that men often perceive endurance and permanence in those things which are the least worthy to continue. But what of those qualities and offerings which are the offspring of Man, which most truly and accurately make statement of his being? Surely it is as close as he becomes as our Father Himself, and the might of Christ. Such might is not by sword or by deflection, but by the capacity to submit love to that which we embrace in its entirety.

Voice upon voice the Heavens have been built. We may have a phrase here "Lend us a hand", whereas they cry "Lend us your voice". For the voice is that outward projection of essential you- one is either contained or receptive, or projective. As being, being-apparent, one 'voices' their presence. They do not flap about, waving madly in the air to attract attention, the potency is in voice. Furthermore, cosmically, the voice is creative. So it may actually produce that which is designed to be, by he who sings. And, this is not on an illusory basis.

There can be great conjecture as to the nature of illusion, especially when regarding those manifestations which have been made apparent by lesser beings. But here is one useful definition: A true illusion is one which exhibits the appearance of substance which is ensouled, but in fact is not ensouled. Also too, it will be transitory by standards of the usual appearance and disappearance. Some would have it, that most of the world is illusory because it lacks the kind of permanence which is won by becoming actual substance ensouled, enspirited and everlasting as is. However, those aspects - such as songs of men, as mentioned above - those aspects which are inherently valuable do remain; albeit distilled from worldly relatives, with shared characteristics and causal links to the men that produced the enduring remains.

But men must necessarily continue on and make for radical change about their person; and enhance their individuality. In light of this progression, it may appear that all that has gone before is illusory (in the light of the now present), when in fact it does substantiate a varied past, and bring relevance to it. Nothing is fixed universally. It is true that that maybe the only fixed statement one may make. The sequence of a dance maybe a little predictable though, however, nonetheless, nothing remains fixed indefinitely. Even change changes.

And if change ever changes to 'fixed', we'll all be stuck!

The Organism- 11th August 1992

ALL organisms are cohesively designated allotted allowances for space, in actuality. It is because of provision given, and freedom also, that they may multiply, diversify and maintain their true-to-form appearances within the vastly populated world.

As there are organisms within organisms, there are also provisions for such in harmonious cohabitation; and yet sadly there is not always exemplary behavior which proves only this. At times, times which are regulated and determined - featured mainly upon the fixtures of the dominating constellations - episodes give over to rapid reproduction of certain invasive bacteria (and genii) in waves, in moss-like habitat mixed with humid warmth, even within the stratosphere in upward draughts.

The conditions may blossom and bring down upon the yawning and welcoming environment, yet more of that substance, infant matter, lively and zealous. The world is enwrapped in a blanket of fern-like, branch-like tentacles amassed - the likes of which are imprinted within the formations of snowflake and branch of crystal. This structure is woven throughout the upper ethers and down into, down onto, the ground, the sea, throughout. It is not so much to be described as fibrous, but more as the vine with thorns, totally woven in. Yes, exactly alike to that which encircled the castle of the sleeping princess - as she who was caught within also the enchantment.

It is amongst this frame of frames, that concurrently the beginnings of organic life must flourish and attach itself. For organisms require nurture and sustenance, and do not derive such from 'thin air', but rather that which is remote to the air - the captive grids of vitality.

High above in the encircling heavens liquid vox [?] slathers until, in turbulent downpour, soaks the remaining undergrowth of thorny catchment. The vines glow golden, and each point has light set upon it; and if seen, one could confuse its radiant outposts as stars set in the night-sky. . . or a railway terminal's illuminated map.

The saber of Michael produces the winds which encircle this Globe, in a fury of spin and whip with fast velocity. This saber is rent upon the Iron Dragon which protests periodically and requires the appeasement which only a sword of remonstrative law will answer. Every threatening groan which issues from the lusty beast is given a swish, and a certain reply. The outfall from this is the winds which swing by, and the flecks from the back of the dragon.

Down swirl these particles, swept into the yawn and gape of an ever receiving organism: the one big encompassing organism which, in her belly, contains all others, minute and scant.

Water as Fire- 8th August 1992

SALTWATER, as distinct from soft, pure water, gives to the land mass the solution of powers, as drawn in through the dynamics of salt in the water. Salt of the earth! What exactly is this salt?

Salt is the remains of deceased organic matter which has undergone a transformation resulting in such residue as is plastic to the etheric world. Dynamic to our physical condition, it is revivifying, electrifying, corrosive, compelling, and above all, it is the past, the very edge of death, the substance one would glean from the end of the world. Here is the turning point, salt the catalyst, as it is reformed death, recomposed and still consuming; matter having resurrected, but becoming salt. Faceless salt.

Further still, we know how the organic may embrace those elements which are inorganic, and of the planetary elements. How close they become, the two bodies intertwined! The marriage between earth and element, ether and mineral.

To have one's body be turned to salt (as some unfortunates have been said to do), means that the death forces have well and truly entered into the body of that man or woman. This would be the condition of all men, if it were not prohibited by a contrasting and opposing condition, cosmically imposed, desisting such outcome. For all matter does work its way to certain points naturally; and salt being the outcome, needs be halted in its progressive activity throughout the human (and other) organism.

Of course without some measure of salt/s we would die. This is because of two reasons: Decomposure is matter released from form and fancy- by fancy we mean that characteristic which dominates the form in expulsion and release, whereby the constituents are spun into localities separate from existing bonds, and circulate within limits, freely. Salt inhibits such activity - it is verily as the specter of death inhibiting the free passage of otherwise wayward souls! It stands before matter and says "Look to what you might become, if you go further - come to me, or stay as you are!" And because of this, that which is held together in unison, resists the drawing of the salt, and is fixed in its presence.

Therefore, within the constitution, one needs salt for indeed two reasons. That there are two forces in question here: one, that of salt, and one, that of etheric distribution, of disintegration. The salt shall keep the lively forces in check, whilst the etheric forces shall most constantly maintain the position of salt.

How may one extract salt from saltwater? Magnetize the salt with salt. How may one extract the water from saltwater, apart from evaporation? How does one defy death? It is a matter of gravity and also of buoyancy. If the water no longer enables the salt to resist the impact of gravity, it shall amass downward, making separate the rest. Dissolved particles must return to aggregates, however salt can do this most readily. How then to remove the buoyancy from water, other than distillation? Set fire to it. Setting fire to water. Curious isn't it?

In Timbuktu he lost a shoe,
And bade the cobbler make another to match,
"Quite simply sir, why not buy another pair?"
"But" retorted the client, "I do not care for another pair."
But your shoe is of gold, and the seams are too stiff,
And the clasp's made with ruby" he said with a sniff.
"I cannot make another, for I have not the gold,
Nor the gem, or the craft, for this shoe now I hold."

So he went to the jeweler, who knew naught of shoes,
And he bade that he join them, or at least sell the tools,
But the man was indignant, that such treasure become hosiery,
And could not contend, with riches worn below the knee,
And so from that day, one shoe on, one shoe off,
And he hopped, and he hopped, like a clod with one clog,
For he would not part, with the half that remained,
And no-one could replicate such beauty again.

Now the cobbler was gravity, and one can remember this because of one's shoes being the closest to the earth, between a man and the ground he stands. The cobbler could not oblige with a shoe which was unlike the ordinary shoe: a shoe of gold. The shoe - which by logic would be heavy indeed - was of gold, which was light - light, buoyant light. It was against his nature and his capabilities.

The jeweler was the craftsman of cosmic impulse. And cosmic impulse will not ingratiate itself to be fully insteeped with matter to the point of setting itself 'below' a certain point: That the gold would not adorn the feet, for it would not enter into the realm of earthly magnetism. Whereas the forces of gravity resisted the comprehension of light - the light too, does repel and resist the lower nature of gravity.

In the case of saltwater we find that the old cobbler cannot enter there due to the nature of the water itself. If one were to deluge the water part to part, with salt equal in mass, separation would occur. But the water for that time should not be as water, but would be sacrificed to the salt. And water does sacrifice itself. It may contain light, and yet have the light driven from it. It may bleed the light, refract the light, or be the vessel of the light. When water is 'taken up' and made heavy, and absorbed within matter, it is for that time, impressed with that which it has lent itself to, and vitally permeated.

It is this which enables light, and for that matter, etheric vitality, to enter into the physical boundaries which are under the influence of gravity and its callings. That there is a protective body - for the light would not otherwise tolerate the atmospheric pressure of an ever impeding earth. Where there is no water, there is no etheric vitality - one can readily picture the lusterless vistas as portrayed within certain atmospheres of aged and withered stars, dried and decaying - if they are waterless, they are as corpses.

Physically, we excrete salt through bodily fluids. Think of the cycle:

Water (body of light, etheric vitality, & conversely etheric fire & warmth.)
Organic Organism (Born of water, permeated by; incorporating lower minerals, combusting etheric vitalities.)
Light separates from gravity and withdraws, thus, death to organism.
Deceased (unattached) organic material which has not re-embodied back into physical substance - gravitation, orbiting a spirit within matter, becomes salt (nucleus unto itself, gravitation fixed in nature of itself, turned in on itself, as it were).

Salt has become a self-determined magnet of attraction. Salt has given over to salt, and resists all urges to comply with other orbits of matter. It draws unto itself the water also: the water, which of the light, would usually give over to living life. Etheric fire is captured within the waters, having salt, which too bows to the water, only to water, and repulses the inclinations which the light does bring. It is through such repulsion to etheric force that it becomes formed as crystal. It is responsive, but resistive.

Water shall sacrifice itself to any gravity which absorbs it; having cavity and vortex to receive. Salt, by nature, draws water unto itself, but has absolutely no need for the vitalities which accompany the water! There is no life to be sustained. There is no ongoing organism. The salt remembers back to its needs formerly and repeats the pattern however. It calls to water and lusts after the vitalities. Salt may miraculously harbor such vitalities and discharge them in uncertain episodes; of relatively larger amounts.
Salt itself can become a body of cosmic influence, as it takes into itself certain etheric forces, and does release them according to certain conditions.

Salt still loves the earth, even though it is divorced from such activity as is natural to the evolving species. Salt would tell you that she is the queen of her evolution, and for this time has many roles to play within the structures of apparent beings and their evolvement. For this she will be redeemed and given life again, which is lively life that may become 'close' once again. She is self-centered matter. She has been overwhelmed by that impulse of which all self-centeredness is formed; but not ensouled.... Unlike all other self-centered beings, for whom their orbits create personal gravity and matter attachment.

Spontaneity, Procrastination & Deliberation- 8th August 1992

THE first and true measure of spontaneity was of course, the act of Creation and all of her designs, having popped up and out and into existence. What marvelous spontaneity, with all the verve and go that one assumes that word to carry! For it is neither more nor less – it is not only typical of new action, but new action abruptly decided and delivered; and one should add, it should be delivered extremely well to be effectual.

What makes for spontaneity? Is it merely a question of time perception or timing itself? True spontaneity comes from an inner response as to knowing correct action, and so acting upon that realization. A madman who is unpredictable and haphazard is not viewed as a largely 'spontaneous' individual. One does not remark that the child in all of her unqualified examinations or outbursts is being spontaneous. But rather, it necessitates that one has prior comprehension as to varied avenues of behavior, and swiftly identifies the preferable and acts on it without hesitation, without reserve. Therefore spontaneity is not characteristically mindless or senseless, even though it may appear as such for all of those who have not been as prepared as he who they have witnessed.

When viewing evolution in the light of this determination one may wonder at the conjecture which suggests that life is spawned in various spontaneous outbursts, all of which belong to the 'mad' category- that Nature herself is given to fits and seizures of complete deviation - divinity is not realized, beauty of pure form unaccounted for. And so the divisions are placed: that it is one thing entirely to suggest that nature may be, by our standards, unpredictable and with uncertain outcome, but another matter to fault the over-prevailing ego which of itself shall be decisive, albeit, quickly.

What of the ego, of she who is this planet so embodied? She who trembles on the outer skin, is pricked and prodded, and ravaged by men. She submits with forbearance, with determined fortitude, as she dances the skies with continued precision.

Alike to the Queen of the fairies with all of her attendants, the many marvels which enhance Creation are constantly renewing, resurfacing or even recreating, in a myriad of composition.

Spontaneity is tireless!

• It is a leap into existence.
• It drives the shoot up into open air;
• It changes a man, who, caught within the shadow of anger upon his face, suddenly turns to a smile;
• It gives the final moment of birth as the canal is negotiated and there is no turning back;
• It gives the corn its color, yellow;
• It gives an improviser a sure hand, a confident flourish.
• It is neither erratic nor misplaced.

Love is truly spontaneous by nature: it springs forth without reserve, for love is not challenged by doubt or by indecision. He who loves knows how quickly and swiftly the associated actions outcome, and the responses, which are not guarded. It comes most naturally, profoundly arising upon an impulse which exceeds all lower impulses.

We may be moved to many activities, and for those in which we are spontaneously inspired to respond to the higher impulses, definite, enlightened and swift action does ensue. Of course, there is a time for deep consideration - the solemn face of understanding, the quiet repose, the unadventured response. Hesitation has its place. Many an oracle has been consulted, many a seer has been pleaded and queried. How to decide, or make choice, if not with spontaneity, but only with sure hand and mind? Even when one has all the knowledge gathered in, one may still be unsure of said choice - procrastination being the opposite to spontaneity. Procrastination of course is a form of action, albeit to the negative.

How often one acknowledges that a conscience ignored is a conscience sorely thwarted - that we may pass up those opportunities to make good or make correct the ills which we know continue. And with heavy heart we may neglect such callings. We procrastinate, even though we are moved within as strongly as ever before. It is as though we are seized by a confusion which binds all ability, and that which would have come spontaneously is inhibited - the real man not forthcoming.

We are drawn in piecemeal to many obligations; obligations with unequal importance. There are two views on this: that one's greatest obligation is that which is of the moment, or conversely, it is the obligation which is as yet unfulfilled and awaiting. Whichever way, the inner man is not only restricted by a sense of pressing obligations (such as obliging the lower man, obliging all lower men, obliging that which he has committed to, etc.); but also he has disadvantaged his own judgment by making many mistakes in the past, by which he has suffered. The disconcertion which arises from this predicament is also procrastination. The imbecile hearkens not to failure, and rarely procrastinates - or hesitates, for that matter. But remember, one may hesitate with due caution or procrastinate unduly, and deter oneself from the chosen activity otherwise set in place.

Hiccups are procrastination.

Next we come to deliberation - that we have considered wisely and moved with deliberate intent. We have wrestled our procrastination, we have weighed all mighty arguments, and decided to be assertive in the particular. This is good. It is good that a man exercise his ability to deliberate and make action on it; that he decides for himself and becomes strong in this self-command.

Too often, unfortunately, men are ill-prepared to find self-direction and to take responsibility for the ensuing challenges which decision making requires. One will find usually that a man has either too few or too many such decisions which require his deliberation - and better to be practiced, than caught in the sea of uncertainty. Men actually need to make positive affirmations. It is not so much the trial or the substance, but that they assert actively out from themselves, and exercise this from self and awareness of self.

The painter deliberately places each brushstroke to his satisfaction - perhaps with spontaneity, perhaps with careful precision - but all the while has also the sense of self, because of such intent carried through with. The expression is important to the man. This is why it is essential for the workplace that all men be given constant opportunity to assert themselves and their expertise, under their own governance, their own directions, because if weakened by an overriding set of directives laid down and made inarguable, the man shall suffer sickness (physical sickness) by repression of his own expression. Not to say that one makes ten men captain, but simply put, it is imperative for all men to make and qualify decisions daily. Often as not they endure repetitive habit which does not confront the exercise of will or judgment. From morning to evening they develop a 'sameness' in the day, which shies away from confronting deliberation. In this way habit-activities may be mistaken for spontaneity, insomuch as the individual is not required to 'hold back' from that which he jumps into. However, the same morning-tea is not spontaneity, although often exclaimed as though it were a new thought: "I think I'll have a donut today!"

Certain routines make good servants to men, and should not be interrupted for the sake of 'new expression'. It is via the rhythm of routine in which a man may go further and be better equipped to enhance his overall ability.

So we must look to correctness in all forms of response, that spontaneity be positive at all times and true to the inner knowledge of correct behavior, that procrastination will not dissuade us from such course as identified as correct and proper, but that if need be, careful deliberation accompany those doubts which are warranted, and the best action ensues accordingly.

Wishes- 1st August 1992

CIRCUMSTANCES may well leave one to ponder regrets when reflecting upon those courses which were taken by us, or for that matter, denied. Regrets when experienced are bittersweet. They invoke imaginations such as suggest more suitable endings or happier outcomes. Regrets are of themselves an invigorating panacea to a present complaint.

One can identify the measure of a current concern by the attitude of regret, which clings as a cloud-shadow hovers over a hillside. How often - more commonly however - it is, that one does not wish to change much of the past that has gone before, but that dual efforts, multiple lives, could have been 'tried out' and perfected, that knowing what one knows now, is perhaps a little over-late. It is not that time has been wasted, to the contrary, but that one would dearly have more time, much more time and opportunity.

And there is not one man who has not wished this for himself; many a good man too, who makes wish of this for others as well. We watch the innocent babies born, the struggles of youth, the demands that ensue. . . and there is cause to ponder the good sense in a life which may be so easily used before properly valued.

However, the resolve which is distilled from such regretful melancholy, with unfulfilled desires, with manuscripts unwritten - this resolve and inclination makes for a worthier existence held especially within the future. It is not lost or discarded by a man. It is forever valuable to him. The suffering as is known by all unfulfilment is quenched by the answer of future involvements, future presentations, of those very longings.

Explicitly one may also state here, that it is usually the case as regards longings. As one can well imagine, this is a difficult point if one hearkens after something detrimental but mistakenly delightful. The reason as illustrated by this is, that it is to great purpose that a man be given what he desires; even though disdain will inevitably ensue. For without the experience and firsthand knowledge of the nature of that which he has attracted to himself by such longings, he should be forever returning to such desires until answered. So in this respect our Father in His Wisdom did decree that all men be answered according to their wishes, and receive exactly what they ask for.

This point has been entirely overlooked by those fanatical fringe-groups of positive thinkers who make a point of decreeing for all that they should wish for. Yes, it is in accordance with the way of men that this should be so, but they omit to inform their demanding fellows in respect to the 'undesirous' being desired and received.

The fact that in the short-term these desires may be in part fulfilled (hurriedly) is a little surprising, for one can add here that usually one does have to wait for one's wish to be fulfilled; particularly a good strong wish! Furthermore, there are two distinct types of wishes - those which are inherently good, and those which are inherently disastrous. And there are two types of wishing: those who would wish for themselves, and more potently, those who would make wishes for others.

A gambler most fully believes that the fates are on side with him at the time of his winning: that he is answered, that he has made a wish which was granted. He is impatient to test and try this law. He does not know that this law holds good for many wishes: former wishes, soul wishes, and even illusive wishes. He is insecure in this knowledge, and in seeking constant reaffirmation of his status within the universe - which would otherwise overwhelm his sensibilities - he is verily 'at odds' with himself.

Know that we would never be denied, and that contrary to the opinion of those high and exalted souls who are qualified in many regions of grand wisdom - contrary, because they would assess that Man has much too much license over his affairs - we have abilities undreamed of. And as they are dreamt of, so they become.

The point being therefore, that it is necessarily of the greatest importance to know where one is coming from, and to what destination one should like to maintain. That we must focus upon the worthwhile and fruitful, industrious, illumined, and above all with the grace of pure love, an intent from the heart that commits all action by us and to us to be of God. If one may hold this before them and measure all regrets and inclinations by their sanctity, then the worthier future will also present.

All of our innermost longings which are dear to us, actually live upon our person and slumber until awakened into actuality. No hope or longing is ever wasted. No love is ever unrequited. If this were not the case we would surely be so distressed by the ills of the world as to be thrown into perilous despair. To all appearances, many dark and contaminated woes inflict most men; many of whom have not the capacity to see their way out from their troublesome plight.

We may well be frustrated at ourselves and at others. But if this frustration is not of itself violent by nature, or with vehemence, then it too, may hold purpose as an imprint within one's resolve. If one may encourage and inspire men to hope for more, and then be content to leave the future to fulfil itself in its proper time - not to be impatient for immediate results, but rather to be content to lay the groundwork for such greater desires - then most properly, the stimulation will cause rise to a more awakened man with a defined future.

It is precisely that men do not know where to look, or how high to reach, that anticipation is quashed because of the falsehood of discouraging outcome. Men believe that they need to know now or not at all, and that they shall be the same throughout eternity. Even sainthood is undesirous, because it appears unattainable; and it shall be unattainable if unsought and unhoped-for.

It is a matter of focus, of longing and of desire.

• To perfect our desires and not abandon them.
• To not be afraid of regrets or upset at our longings because they are at present not forthcoming.
• To be generous with ourselves in the true and proper sense, and then equally generous with all men, for such wishes afflict each and every brother, even before actuality.
This is why a body of men who have grouped together with a purpose defined, become an awesome strength within the world. It is that they do mutually desire and wish for a settlement envisaged - and the outcome will advance. And today there are legacies from such groups of men as did pass away many hundreds, nay even thousands of years before; but they were so strong in unity and intent that their wishes remained until that day of fulfillment - and that they knew this, so much the stronger!

The best proviso in the world was 'Thy Will be done'! Only in this attitude of soul may we step safely into the world and into activity. Without this soul-attitude, we are before perils which of themselves, may take an eternity to intimately come to know the proper dangers and deceit therefrom. So we humbly come to our circumstance praying to be sustained throughout the dangers, carried across the waters; and that we may only wish as our Father would wish - that our choices be good. It is surely foolhardy to wish otherwise.

The Body Astrea - 26th July 1992

THAT which comprises the influences of zodiacal reference are of the four elements, namely: the fiery, the phlegma, the earth and the airy. These four elements are as divided into three; and for the record, are also divided once again in respect to corresponding relations upon each other. They are divided into three, as in old, current, and changing: eg., old fire, current fire, and that which is upon the verge of transforming fire. (By 'old', is meant that the influence born under that starry constellation condition, is one of a stream which is alike to the ancient fiery impulse as was known.)

We are speaking in relation to men specifically, and the signs which predominate in aspects to them. Therefore, the cycle of birth/life/death is somewhat reversed, but applicable - instead of cessation there is change; and instead of birth, at the forefront it becomes that change - whereas the beginning impulsions stream from ancient/olden tides rather than fresh impulses, which complete the congregate. One must have 'carry over' impulses alongside the more stable- living, fluxed impulses alongside: those which are 'on the turn'- the past, present and future as represented in astrological doorways.

• FIRE
The fiery elements are as the 'quick' within the heart of motivated life; they do not of themselves expel and express, but by their action they do drive manifestation into being. The fires denote activity without cessation. When called forth, they are obedient to the confines which make their limits - however, they are of course, without boundary.
• WATER
Water, precious water, provides the tears, which are universal. It is the all-encompassing element which permeates. The aspect of water is its divine complex nature, which correctly, gives over to the fluidic motions and processes above and beyond. The principle of water is true, and to be found throughout every scheme and 'harbor' within all of the heavens. The formless but most significant: the fluidic aspect.
• ETHER/AIR
The ethers: vapors rise on airy beds - the subtle, unseen ethers. Here is the element which brings rise to perpetual space and the provisions thereof. Without which, there should be no divisions perceived between objects. This is the element of beatitude. That there is a fluttering of heart or wing, is because of the ethers either side of the beating. It is truly in aspect, possibility - for without, there would not be the activity of fire and movement, and combustion.
• EARTH
The elements of earth are those which are, for the present, alongside physical manifestation; and concurrently, the etheric realms which most properly are designated to the organism, which organically, comprises the Earth. Remember that those minerals which are accommodated throughout, are all 'outer' inhabitants; many of whom belong to planets within the divisions of the Zodiac. But those properties known as earth are not of mineral constituent, for the Globe is organic by nature, and the etheric globe best represents Mother 'Earth'.
To be 'earthbound' is another matter - which of course, for the time being we all are. However one can perceive a glimpse about the aspects of the element Earth from this perspective: exactly those differences between the ways of the old Earth, the current Earth, and the changing Earth impulses to come.
The current Earth, being as it is known with inclinations as experienced today, will differ extraordinarily from that in the future. Similarly, the contrasts which lie - as a great yawning crevice - between the variations of old/current/changing Fire, Water and Ether/Air, shall be as great - if not greater.

The Apostles were necessarily as representatives of the 'twelve tribes' of the Zodiac; and for what reason - whether it was decided by them or by circumstance - their movements were precisely fixed in accordance with the living aspects at that time.

It has been said that all of the zodiacal aspects make up the body of our dear Christ: that this is but one of His bodies, and that the influences are drawn together through Him and by Him. But know also, that the 'coming together' of all of such influences - as starry points upon a grid-map - are also so formed within each body (astrea) of Man himself. You also, reflect the immediate planetary influences, all of them. The fact that certain aspects will predominate within your nature or personality, or definition past, is only because all aspects have come together in the makeover qualities which comprise your being.

The 'outer' man is those channels, those points of conjuncture and of certain influences, so drawn together and irradiating as one whole being. That we share the enlarged form is no paradox, for as Man is a synthesis of star qualities, the stars are verily the being of Man. It is difficult when presented with such complements of 'large' and 'larger still', for in many respects these concepts are not entirely relevant to spiritual interactions. Largeness is not the considered factor. (Here is an example: the potency of musk!)

The Body Astrea is the Body Astrea of Christ; and concurrently, as little replications within, all men have such bodies which do also correspond with the greater zodiacal complex, and are affected accordingly. As alike to the skeletal frame which does support the flesh, here the greater body - in fixed positions - supports our movements within and without. The physiology of our starry constitution!

So when it comes to pass that there are those who do study the human body in relation to the planetary specifics, it is correctly noted for the main part - but not because there is a correspondence only, but rather because intimately, one is the other - one of the same. That the physical body is largely determined by its body-astrea, and that the body-astrea is determined largely by the impacts of influences aligning, configuring and paralleling with greater influences, or crossing.

There is as a magnetic sheath which encircles each globe, and does take impression from one to another; albeit invisibly to us. It is the sheaths themselves which expand and resist; or expand and breathe in various qualities from partner, neighbor or greater influences. For each and every planet is not only a keynote of that which it is and was, and is to become, but also is resonantly connected with movements to which is it is sympathetic, and that which is presented, harmoniously or otherwise. And conditions alter considerably. It is as a dance with many partners in rotation. The sequence must be played out, so that all may have experienced each and every dancer; and the combinations of such are many and complex.

It was at that point when the 'Sun went black' (Luke 23:45), that one may discover the extraordinary positioning and injury, as invoked upon the greater regions. To set the scene, this was no simple eclipse or cloud, or any other bland explanation - the Sun was not visible. And when the sky is darkened, because the Sun has been extinguished, the stars too, cease to shine. The men did tremble with great fear, because it was a black void, sparkless, with no cheer. In this way, men may tell the difference.

It was this event in which the Body Astrea was afflicted and momentarily withdrew, that the heavens were seized by sore and tumultuous insult. It is unimaginable that such an injury occur to our naked and exposed God - who was especially vulnerable, as any man, but not alike to any man. That Man would kill Man!

Here is the pity of it. Perhaps one would say cynically, "Have your way, better sooner than later, if that be the way of men!" But not of all men, for Christ did look into the eyes of some of those men who did walk with Him and knew Him, and through to their hearts and their innermost desires. This not only pleased Him with cheer, but inspired Him not to recant His original plan. For His coming was one of a seeking for the truth also - and He found the reasons for His trials and woes. Sometimes the unbearable can be sufferable, because of sweet reasons.

Each age does bear its representative of that time. Similarly, each segment of that which we term the Zodiac also too, has its correspondence. Certainly at all times, there are living representatives who walk the Globe, who most properly are example of that pure part of influences.

The disciples of Christ were gathered to Him because of their personal resonance, as so purely corresponding to those parts which were expressed in the influence of Christ Himself. As magnets they were compelled to His side; although this was of former design, which was accounted for the in the ways in which the gravitation ensued. Their qualifications for becoming the circle, so to speak, were that they best emanated in subtle body as members of that group. The word “member” of course, is often associated with arms and legs: as in “members of a body” - which is precisely the inference to be had, only in this instance there were twelve members, instead of four.

However, the disciples can be best grouped in three, as per discussion above of elemental influences. When viewed in this light, there can be little doubt as to which category would best suit each man. The question then is: who of the old ways, the former worlds - which four? Who of that era - best representative - which four? And who of those impulses streaming in, which provide for change - which four?

Before these may be held for scrutiny, one must establish the various signs of the Zodiac attributed to the nature of the elements.
